Hallo there. I am Ríkey. You can call me either that or Rita. I'm 14 years of age and live in Iceland. I'm not like most children my age. Without trying to sound arrogant, I know I am more intellectually mature than most 14 years old. But, you'll have to decide that for yourself. So don't hesitate, send me a comment and if you seem like an interesting person, I'm more than willing to give you a chance.
I've got ADHD and Tourette syndrome which, by some, would be said to be some drawbacks. On the contrary; I do not look at it as a drawback of any kind. But sure, it can be a pain in the ass sometimes [at times such as when I'm out of medication/forget to take them], because I can't control myself. I get overly hyper OR, or I get really, really...overly calm, depressed even, which, truthfully, annoys me just as much as being hyper.
Anyway, enough about that. I'm sure you don't want to read all that. Honestly, I don't care. This is my profile and I write whatever the heck I want. Also, things here might not be as organized as you'd probably like; I'll be adding facts and wisdom about myself all over this profile. Hrmph, my profile, my insanity. But if there's something you'd like to know about me, that I've not already written on this profile, feel free to ask. BUT, no bloody perverted comments of any sort!
My parents are divorced and I live with my father and sister in an downstairs apartment in our grandfather's house. Our apartment is quite small, which is very unfortunate because we have absolutely no privacy from each other. My sister and I used to share rooms, and may I say; not the greatest thing in the world. -.-' Especially when the two of us don't really get along very well. But, she's been moved into the living room so now I have my old bedroom [which I previously occupied alone before my sister moved from our mother's house] back, all by myself.
My father is currently looking for our own place, and he's trying to find a place before school starts again late in August.
I will be visiting England later this summer, for a language school. English in Chester, it's called. I am really excited because I am sure that it'll be an amazing experience for me. When we've got the dates set, I'll be there for two weeks or more, depending on whether I want to stay a week longer once the first two weeks are up. If we have enough money, I'll probably want to add another week. Well, I can't really decide on that right now, because I don't want to make any decisions before I go there. I mean, I've never travelled abroad on my own, especially not to attend a language school with students from all over the world (whose first language is not English). But, like I said before, I'm sure it'll be a very interesting experience and will most likely help me on my educational path further into the future.
I am afraid of rejection, in both reality and online. I always try my best to please everyone around me.
I am very insecure about my looks so if you've got something else than nice to say about me and the way I look, don't say it. :] However, if I know you, you can say whatever the hell you like, because that probably means I know where you live and I can kick you. :]
I'm a very paranoid person. Trust me, there are times where I constantly look up to the sky in fear of Titanic appearing out of nowhere and dropping on me. I can be afraid of an avalanche in the middle of a desert. -.-'
